How to edit event type permissions

You can give others access to view or edit your personal event types. This makes it easier to collaborate and share scheduling links.
Note: Event type permissions are only available for personal and shared event types, not team event types.
Edit permissions for an event type
- Go to the Scheduling page.
- (Optional) Open the My Calendly dropdown to switch to another user.
- Find the event type and select the
three dots on the event card. - Choose Edit permissions.
- Search for the person you want to add. Then choose one of the following:
- Can edit – lets the user change the event type settings.
- Can view – lets the user see and share the event type, but not edit it.
- Delete permission – removes their access.
- Transfer ownership – gives someone else ownership. (The meeting host stays the same.)
- Select Apply to save your changes.
Managed event permissions
Owners, admins, and group admins can update permissions for managed events using the same steps above.
- You can grant view or edit access to an assignee.
- You can’t transfer ownership of a managed event type.
